So they took a university semester break, packed an old Fiat Panda, stayed off the highways, and spent 65 days zigzagging 9,070 km through every mainland region — from Alpine lakes and Tuscan olive groves to Puglia, Calabria, Naples, Venice and the Dolomites. Architecture by day. Camping under the stars. Cooking on titanium. One 25-year-old Panda that never broke down.
