A quality water bottle is an everyday carry companion. Whether you are using a water bottle at the office or during your favorite sport. Drinking enough throughout your day  is extremely important.

During exercise, hiking, or trekking it can sometimes feel like you are carrying a rock. With other materials, they add more weight, as well of course with the water too. A full stainless steel water bottle is not light in any regard. 

With SilverAnt's ever-growing collection of titanium water bottles, we sought to make a dedicated sports water bottle. With a mid-way hand placement, it offers a great in-hand feel, as well as fitting in your bicycle water bottle cage. The art of a practical sports water bottle is to have the optimal size. Too large and it's a hassle to carry, too small and you don't hydrate enough.

SilverAnt's sports edition titanium water bottle holds 700ml/23.67 fl oz and weighs 165g/5.8 ounces.

In the design, we utilized a wide mouth to ensure an easy flow of water while drinking. Also, the hiking water bottle is built using a single-wall titanium construction. It's a lightweight and strong Ti water bottle for all activities and conditions. 

We use a food-grade silicone seal on the lid to ensure a completely leakproof titanium water bottle. The seal is integrated into the lid rather than being removable, as with many of our other titanium water bottles.

The bottle comes with both a titanium lid and our own compatible BPA-free plastic lid, giving you the flexibility to choose the lid that best suits your needs. The bottle is also compatible with CamelBak Eddy and Chute plastic lids (not included) if you prefer to use those instead.

By choosing a titanium water bottle you are selecting a product that's beneficial for your health. With alternative materials, there is the worry of chemicals like BPA's leeching into your liquids. With titanium being a biocompatible, anticorrosive, and anti-rust material this doesn't happen. Even after years of use, your water or liquid flavor is never impaired. This is great even for those sports nutrition gels and powders as often in traditional water bottles they leave a residual taste.

When cleaning use a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse well and leave to dry. Please do not wash the titanium lid with the leakproof seal in a dishwasher as the silicon might become affected. FAQ's

1. Can I wash the titanium water bottle in a dishwasher?

👉 For SilverAnt’s products, we advise washing with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. If you use an abrasive cloth you will scratch and affect the natural finish of the titanium. We advise to not use a dishwasher as the heat can alter the shape and effectiveness of the silicon seal inside the titanium lid. If needed we do offer replacement silicone seals.

2. Can I replace the thermal sleeve?

👉 Yes, if you contact our customer service they will be able to help you and send out a replacement.

3. What is the finish applied to the water bottle? Is it coated?

👉 All SilverAnt titanium products are given an abrasive sandblasted finish. We do this to give an even look across our products and remove the natural titanium discoloration. This sandblasting is not a coating or lining. SilverAnt will never use a coating or lining as it affects the integrity of the titanium.

4. Is it safe to freeze water inside the titanium bottle?

👉 We do not recommend freezing our titanium water bottles with water or any other liquid inside. As liquids freeze, they expand and can place pressure on the bottle walls, potentially causing lumps, dents, or other permanent deformation.

Even if the bottle is only filled 2/3 to 3/4 full and placed at an angle, we cannot guarantee that freezing will not deform the titanium body.

5. Can I use ice or chilled water with this bottle?

👉 Yes. Cold water and ice cubes are perfectly fine for normal use. The concern is specifically with freezing water inside the bottle, as the expansion of the ice can put significant pressure on the titanium body.

6. Where is the titanium water bottle manufactured?

👉 SilverAnt designs, produces, and manufactures all our products in China at our own factory. We are an independent outdoor brand owning our own factory and manufacturing our titanium products.

7. I lost my lid, can I purchase a replacement?

👉 Yes, of course, just send our customer service team an email or shoot over a DM on social media.

8. Why does the titanium lid seem heavier than the bottle?

👉 The water bottle itself is a single-wall construction whereas the lid is much more intricately made. Because of the 100% titanium construction and inner design, the lid is heavier because the weight of the titanium is concentrated in a much smaller surface area.

9. There is a sound with the threads when screwing and unscrewing the lid. Is this dangerous?

👉 No this is not dangerous at all although at first, it can be a little concerning or frustrating. The reason for the sound is the titanium construction. It is the sound of titanium against titanium. This sound will go within a week of frequent use and regular washing and the grooves being frequently used. At SilverAnt we want to create products made entirely from titanium for the strength and ultralight properties as well as benefits to our health. For those that would like a plastic lid, this can be purchased separately by contacting our customer service team.

10. Is the titanium sports water bottle compatible with any other plastic lids or is it just Camelbak?

👉 No the SilverAnt sports water bottle is only compatible with Eddy or Chute Camelbak plastic lid (Not Included).

Not great for cycling.

I was disappointed with this bottle as it’s advertised as being able to fit bicycle bottle cages, which was my intended use. It only fits a very small percentage of bicycle cages. Adjustable ones or some flexible plastic ones. It won’t fit any metals ones, or any of the carbon ones I tried. Also the lid leaked. However, the customer service I received was excellent. Also the other products I bought were great.

Plastic free sports water bottle

I was looking for a plastic free water bottle, to improve the taste of water and any hydration mix I put into it.

The bottle is a good sized plastic free sports water bottle. Without the neoprene sleeve, it fits into my water bottle sleeve that lashes to my hiking backpack shoulder strap. I replaced the lid with a Camelbak lid, so I can quickly sip water. Yes, the replacement lid is plastic but the contact time is minimal.

Very happy

Very light. Look small, but holds 23 ounces of liquid. It fits the bottle cage on the bike and fits snuggly in the mesh bottle holder on the back pack. Very happy.

Doesn't Seal Very Well

The lid design is terrible. Keep the bottle upright at all times, IT WILL LEAK! also there is only one thread on the bottle side so when you tighten the lid to try and get it to stop leaking it strips it.

The Ultimate Titanium Water Bottle

I have a feeling this water bottle is going to last me a long time. It’s extremely durable and has held up to crazy weather in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for the past few weeks. I don’t have to worry about lugging around a heavy water bottle. Since it’s titanium, I don’t have to worry about it leaching into the water, like plastic water bottles. It’s extremely strong and comes with a great water bottle sleeve. The bottle itself is stylish and perfect for your outdoor adventures.

Seals well, super rugged

I seem to be collecting titanium gear and this water bottle is an interesting variation from all the plastic ones I have sitting around. But first - the test. Does it hold water: fill about half way, put in the fridge without its lid to get everything inside cold, take it out, put the lid on, and set upside down. The air inside will warm up and try to push the water out. This water bottle did not leak at all during the test. Afterward, the water had no taste at all. As for the titanium. It's such a cool material. It's interesting that, unlike steel, this water bottle is likely to outlast the plastic of the plastic water bottles. We're talking millennia here. Maybe longer.

Lightweight alternative to plastic

This is a good alternative to a plastic bottle if you are looking for a lightweight alternative. The bottle empty weighs 170g and with the bag it comes to 197g. The fit and finish is really good and the matte texture provides grip and a nice hand feel. There are no quality issues (as standard QC from SIlverant) and the theads are smooth for titanium. It is not the most comfortable bottle there is to drink from because the threads are on the lip side but there are no sharp edges or hotspots or anything that is uncomfortable. This bottle did not leak but I am unsure if the silicone gasket is replaceable because it is embedded in the lid pretty well. The bottle shop is comfortable. The neoprene bag is a nice feature but I wish they would've continued the strap down the side of the bag former mounting options. It can be hard to remove the bottle from the bag as the fit is very snug. It is almost easier to put the whole thing on a carabiner and leave the bag on. The other con of this bottle is how load it is. As the nature of titanium, unscrewing and screwing the cap is louder than any other bottle I have every used I think. It's just how titanium is but I wouldn't use this bottle in a quiet setting or on a Zoom call! Overall I am happy with this lightweight water bottle and haven't have any issues with it as far as use other than what is noted. Recommended!

Very nice water bottle.

This is lightweight and easy to use. It’s not insulated. It takes a bit of cleaning to get the metallic taste out but does go away. The lid is screechy when removing and replacing. If they bothers you you might try a drop of salad oil or sand it just a bit. I had a hard time with leaking a tiny bit at first but that settled down with the second use. All in all a nice water bottle but pricy.

Exceptional Sports Bottle

The Silverant Titanium Thermal Water bottle is excellent. It is a good size, a out 24 ozs, ultra lightweight, it is shaped with an indent ion so it’s easy to hold , has an insulated cover, doesn’t leak, and fits in the pockets of travel bags and backpack and in the cup holder of the vehicle. . I really like this sports bottle

We predominantly use Grade 1 - Grade 3 for the vast majority of our products.

On our water bottles for lids, we use lower grades to increase strength as this area is most prone to dents.

All our products are manufactured in the south of China. Is the titanium coated?

No, we do not coat our titanium products. We believe in maintaining the integrity of the titanium, ensuring a lifetime of use and protecting the antibacterial, non-allergenic and non-toxic properties. Sandblasting is powered by compressed air to form a high-speed jet beam to spray the titanium surface, producing the classic matte finish. Crystallization is a process where the titanium product is put in a vacuum oven at high temperatures and pressure for 10+ hours to produce the finish.

What is the best protocol for cleaning the my titanium gear?

We highly recommend never using a dishwasher and only washing with water by hand. Please don’t use an abrasive cloth as this will damage and scratch the titanium and reduce its longevity. Use a fabric cloth with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Then store in your rucksack or cupboard ready for the next adventure.
