If you enjoy having a hot beverage when you are out hiking or camping and you’re in the market for a lightweight, durable kettle, then you are looking at the right one. This kettle is made of lightweight, high-quality titanium and is easily packable in my 24 L daypack to bring out on hikes. My husband and I use it with a little backpacking stove and it heats the water within a couple of minutes for a nice cup of tea or coffee. The only complaint we have (and it is minor) is that the lid sticks a little bit when putting it back on the kettle. Overall, we really enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, lightweight, durable pour-over kettle.

I love knowing no chemicals are leeching from the pot. Super lightweight and I feel like the water boíles quicker than in other pots, maybe because it’s so thin. I was worried that the handle would get hot since it’s also made of metal, but it doesn’t at all. The one challenge I had was keeping the lid from coming off when I tip the kettle, but I ran a small wire through the vent hole on the lid and wrapped it around the top of the handle and now it’s perfect.

I’m definitely a titanium fanatic. I own titanium pieces of all sorts from all the major brands like Snow Peak, Keith, Boundless V, Toaks, etc. and use them on the daily. These are my first crystallize titanium pieces. Wow! were the first word out of my mouth. The crystallized look is beautiful. These are must have pieces for any titanium fan. Does this kettle work for induction stoves?
Thank you for your question - titanium has naturally a very low magnetic field, meaning that it is a non-magnetic material. Induction technology works using electromagnetic fields. Therefore for this purpose the SilverAnt kettle would not be suitable.

No, we do not coat our titanium products. We believe in maintaining the integrity of the titanium, ensuring a lifetime of use and protecting the antibacterial, non-allergenic and non-toxic properties. Sandblasting is powered by compressed air to form a high-speed jet beam to spray the titanium surface, producing the classic matte finish. Crystallization is a process where the titanium product is put in a vacuum oven at high temperatures and pressure for 10+ hours to produce the finish.
We highly recommend never using a dishwasher and only washing with water by hand. Please don’t use an abrasive cloth as this will damage and scratch the titanium and reduce its longevity. Use a fabric cloth with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Then store in your rucksack or cupboard ready for the next adventure.
