1. Can I wash the titanium chopsticks in a dishwasher?

👉 For SilverAnt’s products, we advise washing with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. If you use an abrasive cloth you will scratch and affect the natural finish of the titanium. You may also wash the titanium chopsticks in a dishwasher.

2. Can I replace the drawstring case?

👉 Yes, if you contact our customer service they will be able to help you and send out a replacement.

3. What is the finish applied to the chopsticks? Is it coated?

👉 All SilverAnt titanium products are given an abrasive sandblasted finish. We do this to give an even look across our products and remove the natural titanium discoloration. This sandblasting is not a coating or lining. SilverAnt will never use a coating or lining as it affects the integrity of the titanium. To further add a contrast and greater look SilverAnt polished the lower half of the chopsticks.

4. Where are the titanium chopsticks manufactured?

👉 SilverAnt designs, produces, and manufactures all our products in China at our own factory. We are an independent outdoor brand owning our own factory and manufacturing our titanium products.

5. How do I know whether the long handle or shorter handle chopsticks are better suited for my use?

👉 Chopsticks and the way you hold them varies and is a personal preference. Another factor is the size of your hand. If you have larger hands then the longer chopsticks would be much better suited for you. Lastly, another factor depends on your hand position when in use. Some people prefer to have their thumb and forefinger higher up whereas other people prefer closer to the eating end. If you are unsure the longer chopsticks would be more practical.

6. Compared with other materials like wood or plastic do the titanium chopsticks feel heavy to handle?

👉 Titanium is an incredibly lightweight and strong material. Nevertheless, if switching from wood or plastic there will be a weight increase using the titanium chopsticks. After 2-3 days of regular use, you won't notice the slight weight increase anymore.

Where are the products manufactured?

All our products are manufactured in the south of China. For the past 25+ years, we have been producing titanium outdoor gear for international outdoor brands, and in 2018, we created our own brand, SilverAnt Outdoors. All our products are made inside our ISO:9001-2015 certified manufacturing facility. In addition, all our products are certified by the FDA, SGS, and the Japanese Food Standards Agency. How long is the product warranty?

All products are covered by a lifetime warranty, apart from our tent stakes. We base each warranty case individually, depending on the reason for damage and the cause. Additional costs may be incurred for shipping and repairs should the damage not be caused by issues with the product's integrity.

What is your return policy?

If you are unsatisfied with your product order please contact us immediately at info@silverantoutdoors.com. We offer a 30-day return policy for all products from the date of delivery, providing proof of receipt. For damage or to repair based on the lifetime warranty, please contact us to organise sending the product back to us for repair or replacement.

Is the titanium coated?

No, we do not coat our titanium products. We believe in maintaining the integrity of the titanium, ensuring a lifetime of use and protecting the antibacterial, non-allergenic and non-toxic properties. Sandblasting is powered by compressed air to form a high-speed jet beam to spray the titanium surface, producing the classic matte finish. Crystallization is a process where the titanium product is put in a vacuum oven at high temperatures and pressure for 10+ hours to produce the finish.

What is the best protocol for cleaning the my titanium gear?

We highly recommend never using a dishwasher and only washing with water by hand. Please don’t use an abrasive cloth as this will damage and scratch the titanium and reduce its longevity. Use a fabric cloth with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Then store in your rucksack or cupboard ready for the next adventure.
