Titanium Hip Flask Funnel

Brilliant funnel, small and so lightweight! I don’t have a hipflask but I am using it for all kinds of other jobs in the kitchen. Will definitely take it with me next time we go camping.

I purchased this specifically for refilling small capacity fuel bottles for use with ultraportable backpacker's/climber's stoves. It's my first purchase from Silverant and I received no free merch or compensation for this review and am not afiliated with Silverant. I'm giving this product a 5 star rating because, just as you would hope and expect, this funnel is very light, very compact, made of titanium with the benefits that confers, and exactly the right size for transferring from a container such as those which fuel is typically sold in, into smaller narrow neck bottles or flasks or fuel bottles you would typically fill your alcohol stove with when backpacking or climbing. The product dimensions posted by the manufacturer should be your guide. Size-wise, it would work great with the small, skinny, tall Nalgene flask, or their small Nalgene polycarbonate bottles, for example. It's ideal for use with any smaller narrow-mouth bottles. + Titanium makes it relatively strong and light, also highly resistant to heat and corrosion, travel and aging. It should have a long service life even for rugged travels, if not abused. Being titanium, this funnel could be repeatedly boiled or autoclaved/baked at temps high enough to sterilize it, without damage, if you intend to use it for filling bottles with water for drinking and cooking, for example. This funnel however can probably survive a trip to the bottom of the ocean or into space, undamaged. It looks to me like Grade 2 titanium or comparable, and has a sandblasted type texture and a titanium grey color as shipped. + This may be the best small ti funnel you can purchase individually on amazon right now. You can buy a flask that comes with a funnel economically, but not with the air venting indentations. + At this price you could buy one for your (toxic) stove fuel bottle uses and another for filling small-mouth bottles of drinking and cooking liquids
