Ultralight Titanium Cup With Lid - 4 Sizes

In this setup I use all silverant to cook a blueberry muffin and did it in 20min. With only 4 ounces of alcohol

I have another 600ml titanium mug for comparison and the Silverant is certainly the better of the two. The handles are hinged from top to bottom. The lid fits snuggly in place. I just boiled wated in this mug over an open flame. The water boiled, so I would say this product is fit for purpose.

Very well made lightweight mug of pure titanium with a great lid included, complete with vent holes to prevent pressure build up. As if that wasn’t enough it also comes with an exceptionally quality storage/carry bag. This is a total win product.

When sipping from the cup with the lid on, the liquid dribbles out of the side of my mouth. A messy drinking experience. One handle didn’t match up well with the other, workable but a somewhat awkward hold.

An absolute beauty of a cup - everything you need and more!

The cup is very well made, extremely lightweight and strong. It comes with a lid that will be good for covering while using it to cook or to keep bug and debris out of it, but it’s loose fitting and won’t stay on for any other use (like a travel mug). For example, the lid will just fall off if you were hang the cup by the handles from your pack. Otherwise, this is a great example of a very nice and durable piece of titanium kitchen gear. The stuff sac it comes with it also very nice, and makes up for the loose fitting lid.

A good all-around cup for camping trips that will last a bloody long time. Perfect amount for a good cup of coffee in the morning too.

I wasnt sure whether to go for the 500ml or 600ml and ended up on the 500ml. The lid is great with the drainage holes, the handles are sturdy and the overall design is well thought out. i prefer this handle style to the larger 600ml cup.

When buying this cup it was to replace my stainless steel yeti camping cup that had seen its last days. Nothing prepared me for how light this thing is and how practical it is. Although not super large (I would like to see bigger than the 21oz) I can still cook breakfast in here which is great. I've always wanted a titanium cup for camping and hiking. This cup has a very nice smooth finish on it and is pleasant to drink from with no sharp edges to cut your mouth. If you're not familiar with titanium it is a very strong and light metal. That being said, this cup would remind you of an aluminum camping cup. Most people will not know that it is titanium unless you tell them. Aluminum bends very easily, but titanium does not. I enjoy drinking coffee out of this cup and look forward to using it for cooking noodles and boiling water for REM meals in the wilderness! The handle seems like it is just kind of riveted on the cup, I hope the handle does not eventually break off. I personally wish the lid had a hinge, I could see losing it very easily because it is so light. I like the fact that I can hook this on my backpack, yet I have to put the lid inside my backpack. All that being said, I still love this cup and find it neat to drink out of.

This is perfect to replace a much heavier cup in my pack! Perfect size for coffee or heating up meals on the trail.

The SilverAnt (the mug here) is clearly competing with Snowpeak 600 (Japan made), so having used both -- I am going to compare them and let you decide which to get. They are both at the same price point ($42), the same size (~20oz of liquid / 600ml), and clearly designed with the same target audience in mind - the ultra lightweight hiking/backpacking/camping community. The main difference is that the SilverAnt comes with a lid, and a very VERY good one at that. When I first read about the 3 pin holes for draining water, I thought it was "gimmicky", but I have to say, the lid has truly impressed me. There is just such a perfectly engineered fit/click from it, that you actually *can* drain the water if needed through the holes. They are just big enough to vent, and yet not big enough to "cool" the water/impact boiling. The SilverAnt (here) weights 3.77oz on per their spec. I weighted it at 3.35 oz without the lid, and 4.20 oz with the lid. (see pictures) The Snowpeak with the HotLips is only 3oz. Almost everything is identical on these cups. The mug cleans very quickly and well. It's perfect for boiling water/rehydrating food (open flame, stove, etc -- no problems), and it can be used to heat+eat your meals right out of it (suggest the titanium spork as a perfect tool for both eating, removing the hot lid, etc). The only thing that "turned me off" a bit is that the SilverAnt claims a LifeTime guarantee on their post here, and the manual said said it comes with a 3 month warranty. (see picture). If they can clear this up/sort it out, this is definitely a 5/5 hiking mug.

Good Solid Mug Not much can go wrong with titanium. I do find the texture to be odd to drink from at first, takes some getting used to.

It’s supper lightweight! I’m a backpacker and every ounce counts when climbing a mountain. I weighed it in grams, but it’s 5.2oz with the lid.

What a great travel cup for so many different reasons! First off, the construction of the cup wonderful. The lid fits snuggly enough to stay in place, but not so snug that its a nuisance. The handles are nice and tight and don't move on their own. The titanium heats up really fast to quickly boil your water, and cools quickly once it's away from the heat source. The mesh carry bag is great too as it prevents any sort of clanking noise when stored in your backpack. Definitely recommend this to any camper.

This was a great mug for my backpacking trip. It is super light, and it has a fun little lid that fits perfectly onto it to keep your drinks warm for longer. There are handles on the sides that conveniently unfold to give you a handle. My only recommendation would be to add a little silicone strip on the area behind the handles. I put boiling water into the cup for tea and accidentally bumped my knuckles against the actual cup while holding the handles, and that was quite unpleasant. So if there was just a little strip of silicone or something behind the handles that would be nice (or just be more careful than me).

I had the pleasure of using this. This is a fantastic ultralight option. It enabled me to carry less weight and fit more in my pack. I boiled water for my meal and then for my tea. I only wish that there was a way to lock the lid in place so I wouldn’t have to bring the bag with me. It is a wonderful addition to my gear box.

The cup is a great piece of equipment that you should always have with you. The size of the cup fits in anywhere, whether in your backpack or in your jacket pocket. The cup is perfect for brewing coffee, tea or even a small stew or soup! I was particularly impressed by the cup that it is extremely light.

Hitting the trails offroading or hiking is always a good idea going in light as possible. Being able to rely on lighteright and sturdy gear is a lifesaver. My mug has been used for boiling, cooking, and many coffee brews. I highly reccomend it to anyone outdoorsy.

I love this cup; it has become my favorite travel mug! It’s so lightweight and I love the handles so that I can drink hot drinks without burning my hand. Love that the handles fold in so that it’s easy to pack. This mug is such a score!
