1. Can I wash the titanium double-wall flask in a dishwasher?

👉 For SilverAnt’s products, we advise washing with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. If you use an abrasive cloth you will scratch and affect the natural finish of the titanium. We advise to not use a dishwasher as the heat can alter the shape and effectiveness of the silicon seal inside the titanium lid. If needed we do offer replacement silicone seals.

2. Can I replace the thermal sleeve?

👉 Yes, if you contact our customer service they will be able to help you and send out a replacement.

3. What is the finish applied to the water bottle? Is it coated?

👉 All SilverAnt titanium products are given an abrasive sandblasted finish. We do this to give an even look across our products and remove the natural titanium discoloration. This sandblasting is not a coating or lining. SilverAnt will never use a coating or lining as it affects the integrity of the titanium. With our crystallized titanium finish, all products firstly are sandblasted. We then place the product in a vacuum-sealed machine at 1200 degrees celsius. This gives the unique crystallized finish.

4. Where is the titanium water bottle manufactured?

👉 SilverAnt designs, produces, and manufactures all our products in China at our own factory. We are an independent outdoor brand owning our own factory and manufacturing our titanium products.

5. I lost my lid, can I purchase a replacement?

👉 Yes, of course, just send our customer service team an email or shoot over a DM on social media.

6. How long will hot drinks remain hot in the thermal flask?

👉 At room temperature for up to 6 hours.

7. Are there any welds visible with the double-wall design construction?

Just what I needed

By my bedside in case I wake up after sleeping with my mouth open.
I usually fill mine with OJ.
I’m a little old for camping and hiking. I used to do white water kayaking and a bit of slalom racing all over New England. But at eighty-five I decided it’s time for a rest. I’ve got three Silver Ant vancuum tumblers and I try to rotate their use.

My first use was ice cold orange juice by my bedside. I sometimes wake up with my mouth dry from sleeping with it open. It’s a very unpleasant feeling But a couple of swallows of OJ helps a lot.

It is very light, I tested the temperature holding by warming up the container with hot tap water, then fill it up with hot water… the temperature dropped 25-30 degrees F in 4 hours. About the same as others I have checked. So it is average… unless you really need the light weight, I’m not sure it’s worth $100-110 bucks….
