1. Can I wash the titanium spork in a dishwasher?

👉 For SilverAnt’s products, we advise washing with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. If you use an abrasive cloth you will scratch and affect the natural finish of the titanium. The long handle spork can also be washed in the dishwasher too.

2. Can I replace the drawstring bag?

👉 Yes, if you contact our customer service they will be able to help you and send out a replacement bag.

3. What is the finish applied to the spork? Is it coated?

👉 All SilverAnt titanium products are given an abrasive sandblasted finish. We do this to give an even look across our products and remove the natural titanium discoloration. This sandblasting is absolutely not a coating or lining. SilverAnt will never use a coating or lining as it affects the integrity of the titanium.

4. Where is the titanium spork manufactured?

👉 SilverAnt designs, produces, and manufactures all our products in China at our own factory. We are a totally independent brand owning our own factory and not purchasing our products from any third parties.

5. How sharp is the spork?

👉 The titanium spork is sharp enough to pick up pieces of meat in a stabbing motion. Nevertheless, the cerated teeth cannot be sharpened so over time they can blunt a little. For camping and hiking trips SilverAnt still recommends carrying an EDC pocket or hunting knife that can be sharpened.

6. Is there a difference in weight between the polish and sandblasted finish?

👉 No there isn't any weight difference. Both variations weigh and measure the same.

I took my new camping spork out with me on some hikes, but didn’t have a chance to use it on the trail; however, it held up really well, even as it was slammed around in my bag, climbing over rocks. It still looks pristine. Finally used it today and I was impressed by how readily it filled the role of spoon, fork, and was even sturdy enough to cut into my food without being the least bit sharp. I like the design and style - looks like it could be easily stackable. As with any spork, the spoon works great with any thickened liquid like soup, salsa, oatmeal. Look forward to using it when camping.

If you don't have a long handle spork, what are you even doing?

If you are even thinking of eating a dehydrated meal, you need this spork. The long handle allows you to comfortably stir and spoon without covering the back of your hand with sauce or getting your germs inside the package. I've added a classic Backpacker's Pantry meal for comparison. This is significantly lighter than my silicone long handle spoon, but without the fear that the handle might melt. It feels sturdy while still lightweight. It also comes with a cloth case, if you would like to store it that way. This spork is lightweight, titanium, with a long handle – – it's a great addition to any camper's/backpacker's gear supply.

The long handle is key!

If you eat dehydrated meals, you need this spork. Primarily so that you can comfortably stir and spoon without covering the back of your hand with sauce or getting your germs inside the package. It feels lighter than my other silicone long-handled spoon, but without the fear that the handle will somehow melt. It also comes with a cloth case, if you would like to store it that way. It's sturdy, yet lightweight and does the job. What more could you ask for?

Ultralight long handled perfection

Love the long handle for freeze dried meals and peanut butter, very ultralight and has a better feel to it when you eat because of the polished end. Love this thing to death! I would definitely recommend and long handled spork like this one.

How long is the product warranty?

All products are covered by a lifetime warranty, apart from our tent stakes. We base each warranty case individually, depending on the reason for damage and the cause. Additional costs may be incurred for shipping and repairs should the damage not be caused by issues with the product's integrity.

We offer a 30-day return policy for all products from the date of delivery, providing proof of receipt. For damage or to repair based on the lifetime warranty, please contact us to organise sending the product back to us for repair or replacement.

Is the titanium coated?

No, we do not coat our titanium products. We believe in maintaining the integrity of the titanium, ensuring a lifetime of use and protecting the antibacterial, non-allergenic and non-toxic properties. Sandblasting is powered by compressed air to form a high-speed jet beam to spray the titanium surface, producing the classic matte finish. Crystallization is a process where the titanium product is put in a vacuum oven at high temperatures and pressure for 10+ hours to produce the finish.

What is the best protocol for cleaning the my titanium gear?

We highly recommend never using a dishwasher and only washing with water by hand. Please don’t use an abrasive cloth as this will damage and scratch the titanium and reduce its longevity. Use a fabric cloth with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Then store in your rucksack or cupboard ready for the next adventure.
