👉 When cleaning your stove, avoid using water, as residual fuel could contaminate your water supply. Instead, use an old rag to thoroughly dry the stove, ensuring it’s cool to the touch before cleaning.
For the cup, we recommend using a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. Abrasive materials can scratch and damage the natural finish of the titanium. Since the cup is made entirely from titanium, it’s also dishwasher-safe.

2. What type of finish is used on the stove kit? Is it coated?

👉 This outdoor cookware kit has an abrasive sandblasted finish. We apply this to achieve a uniform appearance and eliminate natural titanium discoloration. It's important to note that this sandblasting is not a coating or lining. At SilverAnt, we avoid using any coatings or linings to maintain the integrity of the titanium.

If you want to switch fuels, first ensure you completely use up any remaining fuel in the stove. Allow it to cool, then wipe away any residual fuel with an old rag. Burning the flame will typically consume all the fuel. Avoid using water for cleaning, as it can contaminate water supplies. Once the stove is dry and wiped down, you can safely switch between fuels.

5. The flame starts off very high; how can I reduce it?

👉 If you're using liquid fuels like alcohol or petrol, pour up to 60ml into the stove, guided by the gradation marks. If the flame is too high, wait for it to subside slightly before cooking. For your next use, try reducing the fuel amount to 30ml. It may take a few tries to find the right quantity needed for boiling water or cooking. Never add more fuel while the stove is lit, as this is extremely dangerous. Always exercise caution and maintain a safe distance from the stove during operation.

6. Can I cook with this titanium cup?

👉 Yes, you absolutely can. To speed up cooking use the titanium lid when boiling water. During heating just move the food pack's position to ensure even heat distribution. As an added tip put the food pack in first, then add water before boiling.
