Pleasure Coffee Press
I bought the petite french press for a birthday present to myself. I had cataract surgery a year ago and am having trouble adjusting to new reading glasses and seem to break all glass things in my kitchen including my french press. I needed an unbreakable replacement as I seem to be spending time everyday sweeping broken glass from my concrete floor and am so afraid I will miss a shard or two and my sweet little dog will get hurt. Also, as I get older I appreciate items that are light in weight. I tested the press and have discover that if I slowly press only a slight grating metal on metal sounds. Also I like stirring with a bamboo spoon…..so quiet. The spout pours in a perfect stream if not done too quickly. This is my first experience with titanium and was at first disturbed by the fingerprints I left on the surface but then decided I like the personal imprints that appear for me to see the human touch. I think using the press will add greatly to my morning coffee ritual and I can easily take it wherever I go. Also love the size, almost playhouse like, and that warm wooden knob on the lid, a nice final design touch.
