1. Can I wash the titanium kettle in a dishwasher?

👉 For SilverAnt’s products, we advise washing with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. If you use an abrasive cloth you will scratch and affect the natural finish of the titanium.

2. Can I replace the drawstring bag?

👉 Yes, if you contact our customer service they will be able to help you and send out a replacement.

3. What is the finish applied to the kettle? Is it coated?

👉 All SilverAnt titanium products are given an abrasive sandblasted finish. We do this to give an even look across our products and remove the natural titanium discoloration. This sandblasting is not a coating or lining. SilverAnt will never use a coating or lining as it affects the integrity of the titanium.

4. Where is the titanium kettle manufactured?

👉 SilverAnt designs, produces, and manufactures all our products in China at our own factory. We are an independent outdoor brand owning our own factory and manufacturing our titanium products.

As light as possible!

It seems this could not be lighter! It's amazingly light - I got a good bit of joy tossing it to people to watch THEM go, Wow, that's light! It's got a wrapped handle to lift with to prevent burns. The ONLY thing I wish, was that the lid locked in some manner - not a big deal. Really pleased with this.

Huge kettle is great for camp, though the low weight comes at a high price

I've upgraded a lot of my gear to titanium for durability and weight, but my kettle has been a holdout. I thought I would check this out to see how I liked it. The kettle is a great size, about 50% bigger than the kettle that I have currently used. It should be good for a couple servings of coffee or freeze-dried meals. The woven cord on the handles is a nice touch for protecting your fingers. The lid sits flush with the top of the kettle. The kettle comes with a padded mesh sack for protection; it's a bit oversized but at least it's easy to work with. Overall, it's a great kettle. The one and only thing that I'm not really excited about is the fact that you can't get the last drop of liquid out. The top of the kettle provides a small basin for water to catch when it's upside down, and the position of the spout and holes are such that you will need to either let it evaporate or cook it off quickly if you want to get rid of all of the water in the kettle for transport. That's not a huge deal for water, but I would definitely want to put anything else in it since it would be a pain to clean in the field. The plus side of the top is that since it extends a good distance from the sides, it will cut down on accidental spills, either from boiling or from pouring water out. Like all titanium cookware, this kettle is pricey, but if you are looking to upgrade your kettle and want a huge volume, this is a pretty good option.

incredibly light

t's a handsome-looking kettle that is incredibly lightweight. Lighter than my less voluminous Trangia kettle, even. Boils water just fine. I look forward to using it when camping this winter.
