1. Can I wash the titanium cup in a dishwasher?

👉 For SilverAnt’s products, we advise washing with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. If you use an abrasive cloth you will scratch and affect the natural finish of the titanium. As the cup is made entirely from titanium you can also wash it in a dishwasher too.

2. Can I replace the drawstring mesh bag?

👉 Yes, if you contact our customer service they will be able to help you and send out a replacement.

3. What is the finish applied to the cup? Is it coated?

👉 All SilverAnt titanium products are given an abrasive sandblasted finish. We do this to give an even look across our products and remove the natural titanium discoloration. This sandblasting is not a coating or lining. SilverAnt will never use a coating or lining as it affects the integrity of the titanium.

4. Where is the titanium cup manufactured?

SilverAnt designs, produces, and manufactures all our products in China at our own factory. We are an independent outdoor brand owning our own factory and manufacturing our titanium products.

5. I lost my lid, can I purchase a replacement.

👉 Yes, of course, just send our customer service team an email or shoot over a DM on social media.

6. Can I cook with this titanium cup?

👉 Yes, you absolutely can. To speed up cooking use the titanium lid when boiling water. If your dehydrated food bag is a bit large you can be a bit creative and fold the bag to fit inside the cup. During heating just move the food pack's position to ensure even heat distribution. As an added tip put the food pack in first, then add water before boiling.

Ultralight Titanium Cup with Lid 600ml/21.1 fl oz

When seeking versatile outdoor gear you want a do-it-all product.

The SilverAnt titanium cup can carry 21.1 fl oz/600ml of liquid and with the lid in total weighs 3.77oz/107g.

It's lightweight, strong, durable, and built for a lifetime of adventures.

It's the optimal size for 1 person to cook or boil water on a stove, or to hydrate throughout the day. For the adventurer that loves to reduce excess grams in the rucksack, a titanium mug is the solution. Let's go deeper into the benefits of a titanium cup.

Features Of The Best Titanium Cups

The SilverAnt titanium cup with lid is made with a titanium single-wall construction. SilverAnt used a simple retractable handle design with a perfectly fitting lid. Fold out the handles for easy holding and collapse the handles when storing. When not in use put your tea/coffee or other gear inside and place the lid on top.

You Can Boil Water In A Titanium Cup while Backpacking & Camping

Use the titanium camping cup to drink water, as well as your camp cooking. For heating, dehydrated food packs, pour water inside the cup, and boil. Add the titanium lid on top for quicker cooking times. Cook conveniently on a gas-powered or multi-fuel stove as well as over a campfire.

Over time, many other materials can affect the taste of your liquids or food. With titanium, this doesn't happen. No chemicals, odors, or impaired flavors, even after years of use. Titanium is a biocompatible material, both non-corrosive and non-toxic. Clean your cup quickly with leftover boiling water, or by wiping with a spare rag when camping. At home clean with a mild detergent and warm water.

At SilverAnt our team loves the minimalist consumption ethic. We similarly like to buy gear that lasts a lifetime of adventures. When you purchase an ultralight titanium coffee cup from SilverAnt you receive a lifetime warranty. Contact our team for help, we are but an email or DM away.

Feather light

No small wonder that airplanes are often made of titanium. This silver titanium cup with lid weighs almost nothing. If you’re like me camping and hiking involves a backpack. Everything that goes in it is carefully considered as somehow that backpack grows ever heavier as the day progresses. This wonderful small 20 something ounce capacity and very light weight cup is perfection, it weighs a mere 3.77 ounces. It's the optimal size for 1 person to cook or boil water on a camp stove. A bit pricey for a mere cup but you’re getting what you pay for. It’s made with single wall construction and on the accompanying titanium lid are 3 perforated holes for draining liquid alongside a fold out handle. Boil water, cook your dehydrated food, or reheat last night’s pasta and then quickly clean with a mild detergent and warm water. Over time, many other materials can affect the taste of your liquid or food. With titanium, this doesn't happen. No chemicals, odors, or impaired flavor. Comes with a lifetime guarantee. And a really nice storage bag.

Good Solid Mug

Good Solid Mug Not much can go wrong with titanium. I do find the texture to be odd to drink from at first, takes some getting used to.

Lightweight, slightly heavier than competition - however potentially better designed and engineered.

The SilverAnt (the mug here) is clearly competing with Snowpeak 600 (Japan made), so having used both -- I am going to compare them and let you decide which to get. They are both at the same price point ($42), the same size (~20oz of liquid / 600ml), and clearly designed with the same target audience in mind - the ultra lightweight hiking/backpacking/camping community. The main difference is that the SilverAnt comes with a lid, and a very VERY good one at that. When I first read about the 3 pin holes for draining water, I thought it was "gimmicky", but I have to say, the lid has truly impressed me. There is just such a perfectly engineered fit/click from it, that you actually *can* drain the water if needed through the holes. They are just big enough to vent, and yet not big enough to "cool" the water/impact boiling. The SilverAnt (here) weights 3.77oz on per their spec. I weighted it at 3.35 oz without the lid, and 4.20 oz with the lid. (see pictures) The Snowpeak with the HotLips is only 3oz. Almost everything is identical on these cups. The mug cleans very quickly and well. It's perfect for boiling water/rehydrating food (open flame, stove, etc -- no problems), and it can be used to heat+eat your meals right out of it (suggest the titanium spork as a perfect tool for both eating, removing the hot lid, etc). The only thing that "turned me off" a bit is that the SilverAnt claims a LifeTime guarantee on their post here, and the manual said said it comes with a 3 month warranty. (see picture). If they can clear this up/sort it out, this is definitely a 5/5 hiking mug.

Super light!

This is perfect to replace a much heavier cup in my pack! Perfect size for coffee or heating up meals on the trail.

Extremely light and versatile for your backpack

I've always wanted a titanium cup for camping and hiking. This cup has a very nice smooth finish on it and is pleasant to drink from with no sharp edges to cut your mouth. If you're not familiar with titanium it is a very strong and light metal. That being said, this cup would remind you of an aluminum camping cup. Most people will not know that it is titanium unless you tell them. Aluminum bends very easily, but titanium does not. I enjoy drinking coffee out of this cup and look forward to using it for cooking noodles and boiling water for REM meals in the wilderness! The handle seems like it is just kind of riveted on the cup, I hope the handle does not eventually break off. I personally wish the lid had a hinge, I could see losing it very easily because it is so light. I like the fact that I can hook this on my backpack, yet I have to put the lid inside my backpack. All that being said, I still love this cup and find it neat to drink out of.
