1. Can I wash the titanium water bottle in a dishwasher?

👉 For SilverAnt’s products, we advise washing with a non-abrasive cloth, warm water, and a mild detergent. If you use an abrasive cloth you will scratch and affect the natural finish of the titanium. We advise to not use a dishwasher as the heat can alter the shape and effectiveness of the silicon seal inside the titanium lid. If needed we do offer replacement silicone seals.

2. Can I replace the thermal sleeve?

👉 Yes, if you contact our customer service they will be able to help you and send out a replacement.

3. What is the finish applied to the water bottle? Is it coated?

👉 All SilverAnt titanium products are given an abrasive sandblasted finish. We do this to give an even look across our products and remove the natural titanium discoloration. This sandblasting is not a coating or lining. SilverAnt will never use a coating or lining as it affects the integrity of the titanium.

4. Where is the titanium water bottle manufactured?

👉 SilverAnt designs, produces, and manufactures all our products in China at our own factory. We are an independent outdoor brand owning our own factory and manufacturing our titanium products.

5. I lost my lid, can I purchase a replacement.

👉 Yes, of course, just send our customer service team an email or shoot over a DM on social media.

6. Why does the titanium lid seem heavier than the bottle?

👉 The water bottle itself is a single-wall construction whereas the lid is much more intricately made. Because of the 100% titanium construction and inner design, the lid is heavier because the weight of the titanium is concentrated in a much smaller surface area.

7. There is a sound with the threads when screwing and unscrewing the lid. Is this dangerous?

👉 No this is not dangerous at all although at first, it can be a little concerning or frustrating. The reason for the sound is the titanium construction. It is the sound of titanium against titanium. This sound will go within a week of frequent use and regular washing and the grooves being frequently used. At SilverAnt we want to create products made entirely from titanium for the strength and ultralight properties as well as benefits to our health. For those that would like a plastic lid, this can be purchased separately by contacting our customer service team.

8. Can I boil water in this titanium water bottle?

👉 Absolutely, because of the single-wall design boiling water on a stove is very easy. Ensure your stove is very stable before boiling water in the bottle. Never fill to the top with water or boil water with the lid on. Secondly, titanium has very quick heat transfer so the bottle will get very hot. Be careful to avoid burns and scalds. Leave plenty of time for the bottle to cool before picking it up.

52.8 bottle

I like the material and it seems to be of good quality. Although, I expected the bottle to be a little bigger I guess for a 52.8 bottle. The finish on the bottle and cap is great as expected. The cap to the bottle seems to be just a little cumbersome to twist off and twist back on security. I think the choice to have a titanium cap along with the base of the bottle(metal against metal) maybe the difference. For example, I have a ~38oz water bottle with a easy to remove cap/lid, but the lid is made of hard plastic. I just noticed the difference in terms of ease of use if your on a hike looking to take a quick drink or two--then securely placing the cap back on the bottle will be interesting. I chalk it up as part of the deal when seeking a metal to metal container since overall most are trying to minimize their plastic consumption where ever they can get it--overall I did notice the rubber seal which is nice and a must-have as most know. I'm in!!

The only bottle you will ever need

This Silverant bottle does the job and more. I ordered the 1500ml bottle with the cup included. It’s pretty lightweight and does everything titanium is known for. It holds enough water for a day hike, water does not have an after taste after a couple days, and comes with a strap and sleeve which makes it easy to carry during the hike. The bottle holds more water than other bottles of the same relative size which is a plus. I really like the titanium cup as it’s easy to share water with a partner and holds about 2 shots if you’re going to pour liquor in it. I will caveat with the cup not being a watertight seal and you still have to use the screw down top that is included. However, the cup will protect the top of the bottle in the event that you drop it. I actually lost the screw down top and the customer service I received when I reached out was very helpful with me. I personally took this hiking many times and even across Greece where I got married. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes to stay very hydrated with their activities, carry a light load, values good customer service, and wants a bottle that they will keep forever.

Love this water bottle!

This water bottle is great! I had been looking around at other brands like Keith, Snow Peak, Vargo, but none of them had a single bottle design as big as this one. Keith has a 1100ml canteen with a 700ml cup that goes around the bottom, but it still wasn't a single bottle design water bottle that is as large as your 1500ml water bottle. And not only is it huge, but it's got great leak protection.+1 I got the one with the cup add-on as well, it might be on the "expensive-side", but you pay for what you get and that's definitely quality. Buy once, you cry once.
